On the Beat: Girl’s Cash Taken in Front of Deale-Churchton Domino’s Pizza

A juvenile victim allegedly had money stolen from her pocket while she stood outside the Domino’s Pizza on Deale-Churchton Road Wednesday night around 11 p.m. Three suspects were later arrested and charged with theft, according to a media release from Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy.

The story goes something like this: The victim had her money stolen in front of the pizza establishment. The suspect who had taken the money allegedly got into a Jeep Cherokee driven by a woman. The victim and two friends got into a car to chase the suspects. The suspects drove to a home in Franklin Manor at Garret Avenue at Dartmouth Street and parked.

Katherine Ginder, 19, of Churchton.

Cody Tumolo, 20, of Churchton

The victim approached the suspect who, the release says, brandished some sort of unknown weapon. With that, the victim and her two friends retreated and called police.

The report said that police located the three suspects immediately and positively identified them. A 17-year old juvenile was charged with theft and related charges, as were two adult suspects, Katherine Ginder, 19 and Cody Tumolo, 20, both of Churchton.

The victim’s money was recovered and returned to her.

The report said that no firearms were located.
