HOT SHOTS: South River Trounces Arundel, Heads to State Semi-Finals
South River barreled past Arundel (9-2) Wednesday night to snare the title of regional champion.
- With the win over Arundel, South River heads to the State Semi-finals on Friday.
- In the State Semi-final, South River will meet Bel Air.
- The state semi-final will be played in Reisterstown on Friday.

Next is the State semi-final game, which will be played on Friday night against Bel Air at Franklin High in Reisterstown (at 8 p.m.).
Bel Air was seeded 11th in the South, while South River was seeded first in the East. The two remaining teams in the state semi-final tournament include Churchill, seeded No. 1 in the West and Westminster, seeded No. 1 in the North.
The winners of the two state semi-finals will play each other on May 22 in Baltimore.
