Woodland Beach Fire Department Carnival Set for May 28

You know it is almost summer when the grassy area in front of the Londontowne Community Hall is over run with carnival rides, fried foods and games of chance. This year’s Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department (WBVFD) Carnival is set for May 28 to June 2.

Each year, the carnival and accompanying parade help to raise awareness (and maybe some funds) for the WBVFD. This year the parade has been canceled due to permitting issues.

Be sure to bring the kids (or grandkids) by one—or every— evening for rides, cotton candy and maybe a chance at winning one of those big stuffed animals.
