VIDEO: Daylily Open Garden in Davidsonville
Faith and Jerry Bange have been growing Day Lilies in their Davidsonville backyard for over a decade. There are winding paths and flower beds that host the Day Lilies as well as fruit, trees, ferns and perennials.
They open the garden once a year at peak bloom so that others can get ideas, exchange cultivars and generally just be awed by what these busy home gardeners have accomplished. The open house was last Saturday. Boy was it pretty.
If you’d like to see Fay’s Bloomers, as she calls them, visit the local Daylily society homepage. Faith and Jerry are faithful followers of the day lily—they’ll surely welcome you to see their beautiful back yard.
