Important Changes in Store for Central Elementary School Car Riders

Morning drop-off, afternoon pick-up and overall parking procedures at Central Elementary School have changed from last year because of a summer expansion of the parking lot, which was just recently completed. All cars will enter the parking area from a single entrance. Students can be dropped off or picked up at four specific locations (represented on the map below with stars).

To ensure their safety, children will only be permitted to exit cars from the passenger side on the sidewalk. Drivers must stay in the car when dropping off children. Red arrows on the diagram below show traffic flow.

Please exercise patience while everyone gets used to the new procedures.
