Help! Nominations Due Now for Anne Arundel Volunteer Project Hall of Fame
The Volunteer Center for Anne Arundel County is looking for volunteer projects to nominate for the 2012 Hall of Fame awards.
Each year hundreds of volunteers participate in projects that help our community. Many awards are given to recognize groups and individuals for their hard work. However, most of us are unfamiliar with the background and impact of the projects themselves.
The 2012 Volunteer Project Hall of Fame Awards, sponsored by the Volunteer Center For Anne Arundel County and the Coordinators of Volunteers of Anne Arundel County, will honor volunteer projects that have had the most impact in Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis.
Nominations are invited for volunteer projects sponsored by local nonprofit or faith-based organizations, local businesses, governmental agencies and other groups.
Volunteer Project Nomination forms are now available. Nominations must be completed and received by the Volunteer Center no later than 5 pm, October 12, 2012.
Award winners will be announced at the Induction Luncheon Celebration to be held at Yellowfin Steak & Fish House in Edgewater, MD on Nov. 8.
Sponsor Opportunities are available. For information contact Fay Mauro at 410-897-9207.
