Department of Health is Looking for Focus Group Participants

The Healthy Anne Arundel Coalition is looking for participants for focus group discussions. Participants must be 18 years are older. The meeting dates are Sept 11 in Hanover, Sept. 12 in Glen Burnie or Sept. 13 in Annapolis. The meetings will be an opportunity to share your opinions about health issues in Anne Arundel County.

Healthy Anne Arundel Coalition is looking for focus group members. Get dinner and a gift card for your time.

Participants get a free, light dinner and a $50 Walmart gift card.

Each group is limited to 15 people and pre-registration is required. Transportation assistance can be arranged. To register, call 1-800-218-6468. Please mention during registration if transportation is needed. Dates and locations are as follows:

• Tuesday, Sept. 11, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at BW Health Services, 7556 Teague Road, Suite 440 in Hanover (near the Greene Turtle restaurant, across from Arundel Mills Mall).
• Wednesday, Sept. 12, 5:30 to 7 p.m. or 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Tate Center, 1st Floor, 305 in Glen Burnie.
• Thursday, Sept. 13, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, J. Howard Beard Health Services Building, Health Officer’s Conference Room, 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway in Annapolis.
