Tuesday Life Celebration for Patrick Feeks Follows Monday Procession

Petty Officer 1st Class Patrick Feeks’ procession rolled into Edgewater Monday morning. Despite the cloudy weather, crowds of people showed up to pay their respect. Moms and dads, young adults, grandparents, teens and children lined the route along Southbound Route 2. Some were solemn, some waved flags, some saluted.

Police and Maryland Patriot Guard were in place just in case protestors showed up—although there was a rumor that Westboro Baptist Church would come out. Thankfully, they didn’t.

The procession began at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, where all U.S. military remains are returned to American soil.
