Learn About Medicare Part D Enrollment at Senior Center’s Free Seminar

Seniors are invited to learn about Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage at a free seminar.

The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities’ SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program) and SMP (Senior Medicare Patrol) Program are holding presentations in all seven senior activity centers throughout the county during October.

The presentations are to remind Medicare beneficiaries on the Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans and to provide current information and resources for help in choosing new prescription drug plans. The sessions also will educate beneficiaries on the importance of safeguarding their Medicare information and to be aware of fraud and scams.

Presentations are as follows:

• Oct.  18, 11 a.m., South County Senior Activity Center, 27 Stepneys Lane, Edgewater.
