Summit School’s Golf Tourney ‘Early Bird’ Signup Ends Sept. 17
The 8th Annual Summit School Golf Tournament [link downloads PDF] is set for Oct. 15 at the Golf Club at South River in Edgewater. Save $10 on signup before Sept. 17, $150 per golfer or $600 per foursome. The tournament is one of two fundraisers for the school each year. The Summit School is a private 1-8 school that offers a highly specialized academic program for bright students with dyslexia and other learning differences.
This year there will be fun contests, including air target, longest drive, and closest to the pin. There will also be door prizes, a raffle and a $10,000 prize for the golfer lucky enough to get a hole-in-one on the 12th hole.
Registration after Sept. 17 will be $160 per golfer. The Summit School tournament offers golfers the opportunity to play on this recently-converted-to-private course. Summit’s goal is to match or exceed last year’s attendance.
Lunch will be generously donated by The Steakhouse in Edgewater.
This year’s Gold Sponsor is Stohlman, Beuchert, Egan & Katula, Chtd.
Sponsorship opportunities and corporate packages are still available. Please contact Melanie Sipple for more information.
Net proceeds benefit the students and faculty of The Summit School. Summit, a non-profit school, opened its doors in 1989 with a mission of educating children with unique learning styles to their full potential. To register, visit the Summit School online.
