High’s Store on Central Robbed, Suspect Still at Large
The High’s Dairy Store on Central Avenue was robbed late Thursday night. Police said that the incident happened around 11 p.m. when Anne Arundel County Police from the Southern District responded to a call for an armed robbery.
According to a media release from spokesman Justin Mulcahy, clerks at the store told police that a man entered the store, showed a knife and demanded that employees open the register and take out cash. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
The store employees said that the suspect then fled on foot. Police searched the area, but were unable to locate the man who is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5’10 with a thin build. The man was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
