Fall Flowers at South County Senior Center Oct. 10

Mum’s the word. Well, not so much as a word, but an abbreviation for Chrysanthemum, the beautiful fall bloomers that adorn front porches and fall arrangements both indoors and out.

The South County Senior Center will be the site for the Fall Flower Show on Oct. 10. The show will feature for purchase mums in 12-inch terra cotta pots, cabbage, kale, assorted color astors, 10-inch hanging baskets and pansies in containers that are perfect for patio, deck or balcony.

The South County Senior Center is located at 27 Stepney Lane in Edgewater. The show will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Senior Center is hoping that anyone with perennials and/or fall gardening flea market items to donate can take them in advance of the sale to the center. For information, call 410-222-1927 or 410-798-4802.
