Police Ask for Help in Solving Hotel Armed Robbery on Riva Road
Southern District police officers were called to the Holiday Inn Express on Riva Road at 8 p.m. Saturday for a reported armed robbery, according to a media release from Lt. Frank Tewey, spokesman for Anne Arundel County Police. 
Police said that the hotel clerk reported that a man walked into the hotel, located at 2451 Riva Road in Annapolis, showed a handgun and demanded money. Police said that the clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot.
The report said that Annapolis City K-9 searched the area, but could not locate the suspect. Police remain on the lookout for a black male with light-colored eyes, in his late 20s or early 30s, wearing a yellow baseball hat, a black “Star Wars” t-shirt and tan or khaki colored shorts.
