Gov. O’Malley Extends Early Voting Til Friday, Nov. 2

Gov. Martin O’ Malley (D), signed an Executive Order today regarding Hurricane Sandy and early voting. The order extends the operating hours of the four Anne Arundel County early voting sites including Edgewater Library to include Friday.

All four Anne Arundel sites will now be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, Thursday, Nov. 1, and Friday, Nov. 2.

Residents may vote at any location. The early voting sites are the Annapolis Boys and Girls Club, the West County Library, the North County Library and the Edgewater Library.

O’ Malley signed the order in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Early voting was canceled on Monday and was originally slated for Saturday through Thursday. O’ Malley’s order extends it by a day.
