Give a Pet a Happy Holiday By Donating Supplies to Animal Control

Anne Arundel County Animal Control is now accepting donations of new items for our Annual “Give A Pet A Happy Holiday” Program.  This program helps provide assistance to the Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County, owners of pets in some assisted living homes and other organizations assisting needy individuals who may also own pets during the Holidays.


Donations will be accepted at:

Anne Arundel County Animal Control
411 Maxwell Frye Road

Between Nov. 24and Dec.  15

During the shelters viewing hours:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm;
Wednesday 10:00 am – 6 pm
Saturday 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

Acceptable Pet Donations Include

  • Canned Food Items
  • Pet Toys
  • Crates/Carriers
  • Bedding
  • Leashes and Collars
  • Treats
  • Dry Food Items
  • Cat liter
  • Bird Toys
  • Bird Feed

Also accepted are other items that would help make the lives of pets and their beloved owners have a Happy Holiday.
