Last June, the South Anne Arundel County Relay for Life had over 200 participants. Over two dozen teams raised more than $58,000.
Organizers have a number of fun activities planned for next Saturday, including a chili cook-off fundraiser. All teams are invited to enter a chili in the cook-off. Bring a crock pot of chili for attendees to sample. Attendees will donate a dollar to the chili they like the most. Their dollar will serve as the vote.
The team that collects the most money will get ALL the money donated towards the cook-off. That money will go toward the winning chili team’s fundraising goals.

- Luminaria ceremony (Luminaria are paper bags with candles inside that light the path. The bags are decorated to honor the memory of a loved one, a team member or survivor).
