Police Ask for Help in Locating a Missing Edgewater Man

Update: the man was found unharmed in the area of Loch Haven Road and 214 on Friday afternoon.

Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Lt. Frank Tewey said in a release to the media that police are asking for the public’s help in finding a critical missing person. According to the release, Randall “Randy” Flynt Larsen, 55, of Edgewater, was last seen leaving his home in the 3600 block of First Avenue in the Selby neighborhood.

Larsen is a white male, 5’10″, 165 lbs. with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Police said that he has been missing since Jan. 11 and may be despondent over a recent death in the family. Police said that he left his home with a sleeping bag and camping gear.

Family members believe that he may still be in the Selby Beach or Coxby Estate sections of Edgewater.
