South River Federation’s Annual Fundraiser Set for March 23 at Homestead Gardens

From the South River Federation:

Mark your calendars, Facebook, and iPhones, the date is set for the South River Federation’s Annual South River on the Half Shell Live and Silent Auction! Hosted by Homestead Gardens on Saturday, March 23th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., during their stunning flower show, this is one shell of a party you don’t want to miss!

Slurp down some oysters!

Auction guests will dine on delicious food catered by Palate Pleasers, slurp down Chesapeake Bay Oysters donated by local watermen shucked right in front of you, and enjoy an open bar while bidding on a wide variety silent auction items. The best part of the night is the exciting live auction where attendees can bid on items from fun-filled getaways to stunning art by local artists.

All proceeds benefit the South River Federation and our work to protect, preserve, restore, and celebrate the South River. In a time when funding resources are increasingly scarce, your support, whether it’s attending the auction, donating an item, or being an event sponsor, will allow us to be even more effective advocates for the South River.

Have fun at the South River on the Half Shell Live and Silent Auction while helping to make our watershed a better place to live. Call 410-224-3802 or visit for more information.
