Three Young Adults Arrested for Pot in Crofton Thursday Night
Three young adults in Crofton were arrested on Thursday night for possession of $2,300 worth of marijuana, according to Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy.
Members of the Western District Tactical Narcotis Team and Tactical Patrol executed a search warrant on a house in the 1500 block of Verdis Court in Crofton. This neighborhood is off of Davidsonville Road,/MD-424 just before the intersection of Route 3.
Mulcahy said that police entered the home at about 8:40 p.m. Detectives reportedly seized approximately 115.2 grams (4 ounces) of suspected marijuana. The three suspects are:
- Nicholas Chuckas, 23, of the residence, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute (marijuana).
- Rebecka Ann Elisa Rooney, 21, of 8200 block of Chalet Court in Millersville, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous subject with intent to distribute marijuana.
- Joseph Birch, 23, of 1100 block of Charing Cross Drive in Crofton was charged possession of marijuana less then 10 grams.
