The Rotary Club of Southern Anne Arundel County and Galway Bay Irish Restaurant (sister pub to Killarney House in Davidsonville) held a raffle for a Dream Trip to Ireland to supplement their successful charity fundraising golf tournament which was held on September 9 at Old South Country Club in Lothian.

According to Rotary Club past-president and Irish Restaurant Company co-owner Anthony Clarke, the winners were drawn at the end of the golf tournament with Annapolis locals, Sean and Lynn Looney, winning the prize.

They will plan their dream trip with the help of local travel consultants Cruise Holidays.

This was the 14th year for the golf tournament, which benefits the Malawi Friends project, where funds raised help to provide clean water and a maize mill for the people of the Holy Cross Parish Community.

Bidding at the online auction to benefit the Malawi Friends Project will continue through Sept. 15. There are some great deals to be had, including overnight stays at Annapolis Hotels, food and drink gift certificates, Navy Football games, yoga, tickets to the Maryland Renaissance Festival and more.
