Woodland Beach VFD is hosting an Open House on Oct. 19 at the station, 529 Londontown Road in Edgewater. Come on out!

The Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department is hosting an open house at the fire station, 529 Londontown Road in Edgewater from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.

At the event, they’ll offer tours of the fire station (you won’t believe how many residents they service from their tiny station). You’ll get to meet the Woodland Beach firefighters and see a demonstration by the arson dog.

For families and children, they’ll have a moon bounce, Maryland Child Identification Program (CHIP), kids entertainment, Elmo, McGruff the Crime Dog mascot, activities and games and more

.They’ll also have a 911 simulator, blood pressure screenings, fire safety house, food, handouts, emergency demonstrations and MyID medical alert bracelets available for purchase.
