Police Ask For Help ID’ing Copper Thief

The pictured is a suspect in a theft of copper that occurred on October 16, 2013, at the BGE sub station located at 1155 Waugh Chapel Road in Gambrills.

The individual cut a hole in the fence to gain entry into the facility and stole various amounts of copper once inside. There have been numerous incidents of individuals stealing copper in the past from this facility. Anyone with information as to the identity of the individual pictured is asked to contact Detective Dutton of the Western District at 410-222-6155 or Metro Crime Stoppers.
