Three People Shot to Death in Linthicum Heights Home Overnight

Anne Arundel County Police said that three people are dead after an overnight shooting in a home in Linthicum Heights. Police spokesman Lt. T.J. Smith said that officers were called to the 1900 block of Armistead Street in Glen Burnie around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 27) for a report of a shooting inside a home. 300px-MD_-_Anne_Arundel_County_Police-204x3001

This neighborhood is immediately south of the Baltimore Beltway and west of I-97. It is slightly north of BWI airport.

Once there, officers found two men and one woman suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. Anne Arundel County Police Homicide is investigating the incident.

Police believe that two were victims, a woman, 26, and man, 27. Smith said that police suspect the third person at the scene was the shooter. He was 37 years old. Police did not provide identities for any of the deceased.

Smith said that the circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.  Preliminary information indicates there was a relationship between the suspect and the female victim.

No further details are available at this time.
