Bid Today! West Rhode Riverkeeper’s Online Auction Only Open for Six More Days

Support South County’s local waterways by participating in the West Rhode Riverkeeper‘s online auction. This year, the group has 15 terrific items to bid on from the comfort of your own home.

Since 2005, the The West Rhode Riverkeeper has worked to help protect the two rivers which are tributaries of the  Chesapeake Bay.  Weekly, the group tests the waters, warns the public when it is potentially dangerous to swim or fish, looks for sources of pollution and runoff and works with the community, businesses and government to find solutions.

Fundraisers such as the online auction supports the groups work and allows them to continue with research and community projects.

It’s easy to participate. Simply log on to, create a free account and start bidding.

The site will be open for one week with final bids being accepted up until midnight on Sunday, November 3. Winners will be announced after closing bids.
