Hockey 2

Come try hockey for free on Saturday, November 2 at the Bowie Ice Arena.

The Bowie Club is one of 500 programs across the country that will host the free clinic in recognition of the National Hockey League’s Come Play Hockey Month. The event will be held at the Bowie Ice Arena located at 3330 Northview Drive.

Certified coaches and volunteers will be on hand to teach children the basics of hockey. They will run skating and shooting drills, games and fun activities.

The ice rink will have skates and equipment for use.  There is a limited quantity available so if you have a friend or neighbor that plays see if you can borrow their equipment.

The Bowie Hockey Club draws players from all over the area including Edgewater, Davidsonville, Crofton, Piney Orchard and Chesapeake Beach. The Club offers a wide range of programs, from instructional hockey for the very beginner to competitive travel teams.
