Fall Show for Muddy Creek Artist Guild is Coming Nov. 7 to 10
The Muddy Creek Artists Guild will be hosting their November Art Show and Sale, featuring over 50 South County artists at Historic London Town and Gardens from Thursday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 10 in Edgewater.
All of the artwork will be available for sale. It will include painting, pottery, textiles, jewelry, sculpture, photography and stained glass. New pieces are brought in throughout the show, so keep coming back—each day will be a new experience.
The guild typically hosts a few shows each year at locations around South County. All of the artists create original works and all live south of the South River.
The show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday (with an artists reception at 5 p.m.); 10 a.m. to 6 p.m on Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Also on Saturday at Historic London Town and Gardens in Edgewater, Market and Trades Day will take place. This is a living hsitory day with costumed interpreters who will cook in the Lord Mayor’s Tenement and interact with visitors on-site. Children can play colonial games and vendors will be on site with Colonial-style goods for sale.
Market and Trades Day will run from noon to 4:30 p.m.
