Lothian Ruritans Citrus Sale is Ongoing Until Nov. 15, Pickup is Dec. 7

The Lothian Ruritan Club‘s annual citrus sale is underway. Order your oranges and grapefruits until Nov. 15. Delivery of these yummy fruits will be on Dec. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lothian Elementary School parking lot on Solomons Island Road in Lothian. Click here to download the order form (pdf).

Here’s what you can order:

Grapefruit Schnitt rose Zypern

Red grapefruit will get you through winter.

  • Naval Oranges: 2/5 bushel for $17.50 or 4/5 bushel for $28
  • Red Grapefruit: 2/5 bushel for $16 or 4/5 bushel for $25

The number of naval oranges or red grapefruit in 2/5 bushel is anywhere from a dozen to 20, depending on the size of the fruit. It’s 18 to 20 pounds. Double that number for the 4/5 bushel size.

The Lothian Ruritan Club is a 501(c)3 organization, so donations are tax deductible. The Ruritan Club helps all kinds of people in South County and Maryland. The Ruritans are a national organization dedicated to improving communities and building a better America through fellowship, goodwill and community service. They also offer nine 1,000 scholarships to students who have a demonstrated interest in community service.
