Parents: It’s Time to Sign the Kids up for Spring Sports

It’s hard to believe that it’s time to sign the kids up for spring sports. With the temperatures in the single digits this week, who could fathom putting on a pair of shorts and heading outside with a lacrosse stick or soccer ball?

Regardless of the weather,  local youth athletic organizations including the  Davidsonville Athletic Association (DAA) and South River Youth Athletics (SRYA) have announced that registration is now open for select sports including boys and girls lacrosse and soccer.

South County Youth Athletics (SCYA) reports on its site that registration will open today, January 10.

Here’s a summary of sports currently open for registration. We compiled this information from the sports organization’s websites. Make sure to register early as many age groups will fill up quickly.
