Auditions for Cornerstone Theatre’s Production of Tarzan are This Sunday

If you have always wanted to be on stage, here’s your chance…

Cornerstone Theatre will hold auditions for its spring musical – Disney’s tarzan on Sunday, February 9 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Cornerstone Theatre at the Davidsonville United Methodist Church is holding auditions for its spring musical – Disney’s Tarzan, this Sunday, February 9th from 3 to 5 p.m.

The Auditions are open to all ages and no experience is needed.

The musical is being directed by Kyle Durbin, youth director for the United Methodist Church and founder of the theatre group. The auditions are being held at the church which is located at 819 West Central Avenue, in the heart of Davidsonville.

Individuals trying-out for a singing role should be prepared to perform a contemporary pop song of at least 90 seconds. You will also be asked to read from the script and work scenes with others so make certain you are familiar with the story.

The call for the junior cast, anyone that has not yet reached the 6th grade, will be at a later date.

Cornerstone Theatre’s presentation of Tarzan is scheduled for Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3 at 6 p.m. and on Sunday, May 4 at 2 p.m. Guests will be treated to a pre-theater dinner.

Tickets to the show are $20 with student discounts available.
