South River and Southern Lacrosse, Baseball and Softball Divisional Playoffs Wednesday Night
South River High School’s boys varsity lacrosse team will play Leonardtown at home on Wednesday to determine the Regional Champion in the 4A/3A East division of the playoffs. The game starts at 6 p.m.

Also on Monday night, the Southern High boys varsity lacrosse team bested Carver Vo-Tech (19-1), advancing to the regional final game in the 2A/1A South division. They’ll play Fallston at an away game on Wednesday night starting at 7 p.m.
Also on Wednesday (same place, game time 5 p.m.), the Southern girls varsity lacrosse team will play in their divisional final, also against Fallston High in Harford County.
Another Wednesday game, the Seahawk boys varsity baseball team will be at North Point for a divisional final game. First pitch is at 4 p.m. The boys beat Leonardtown on Monday (7-1).
The Southern boys baseball got past Frederick Douglass High School on Monday in a big way (12-2), and will advance to a Wednesday game against Gwynn Park in Brandywine. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
The Bulldog girls softball team will also play at Gwynn Park on Wednesday. On Monday, they crushed Largo, 22-0.
The South River girls lacrosse and softball teams fell in earlier playoffs.
