SPCA Puppy Plunge Scheduled for August 24 at Camp Letts

Grab your four legged, furry friend and head over to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County‘s Third Annual Puppy Plunge scheduled for Sunday, August 24 at Camp Letts in Edgewater.

This fun-filled event features live music by the Oyster Boys, demonstrations, a dunk tank, vendors, delicious food, children’s area and a”Go Home Clean” dog wash.

Enter your pooch in one of the three canine contests including the bikini, best trick and best pooch smooch or new this year the puppy pie eating contest.

Jump into the fun as the dogs gather on the beach and run into the Rhode River to take the “plunge” and help the animals at the SPCA. The larger dogs will plunge into the Muscle Beach and the smaller dogs will jump in off the Petite Beach.

General admission is $8 plus a suggested donation per person. Children under 10 years old are free.  Tickets may  be purchased online or at the gate. Can’t plunge? How about being a virtual plunger. Make a donation of $40 or more and you will be eligible for a Puppy Plunge t-shirt.
